Nantarika Chansue, director of the Veterinary Medical Aquatic Animal Research Centre, watches 25-year-old green sea turtle "Om Sin" swim in pond as part of rehabilitation treatment. She also posted photos of Om Sin and video clips showing the turtle flapping her flippers in a plastic tub filled with artificial seawater. "It is a super great day to see Bank [Om Sin] able to swim normally at the first seawater trial! However, she said the sea turtle will remain under the close surveillance of the vet team to ensure that the surgery wound remains dry to prevent complications. Om Sin will be sent to the Royal Thai Navy's Sea Turtle Conservation Centre in Chon Buri after a full recovery.
